Carlynn Fitzgerald and Gotta Dance! 

Carlynn created Gotta Dance in December 2009 with the idea that dance can be fun, educational, and inspiring.  Gotta Dance features the Dancercise Kids curriculum which teaches young students life lessons through fitness, music, dance and creative movement!

Carlynn is a native of Wisconsin, graduated from Clinton High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance from Stephens College in Missouri.  Carlynn and her husband settled in St. Paul, MN where she began her successful performance career in shows such as Crazy For You, Fiorello and The Pajama Game.  When she was not on stage you could find her teaching dance classes at local schools or choreographing other theater productions.  In 2009, Carlynn and her husband relocated back to their hometown of Beloit.  You can also find Carlynn teaching classes with Miss Andrea’s Dance Factory in Rockton, IL, where she began her career as a young child. Along with dance instruction, she is an accomplished choreographer.  Her most recent work was seen in Bower City Theatre Co.’s presentation of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Carlynn will continue to share her love of dance and theater with others.
